OCT 29, 2104 Group project in class
Today's human geo class we did our group project. In my group, I was doing France with Gabi and Skylar. I found a very interesting things about the google powerpoint, if we are in the same group, all of the person can noticed who is typing and what he typed at the time. We focus on the guide in Mr. Schicks's blog and searched it in google. We always found a lot of pretty pictures about France. I think we will make a wonderful project soon.

OCT 27, 2014 Group work
Today's human geo class I took the pop quiz out side, I was really nervous and i can just remember all the leaders and their countries, I'm sure that i didn't do a good job on the quiz. And then we talked about group work, in my group it's me, Skyar, and Gabi. We choose France and we are going to get about the government.

We talked about Political Geography on Monday.
Political Geography
1. A nationa group of people with a shared identity. Think of it as a culture group.
Nations are culturally homogeneous groups of, people, larger than a single tribe or community which share a common language, institutions, religion and historical experience
2. An independent state:
- Has a space or territory which has internationally recognized boundaries(boundary disputes are ok)
- Has people who live there on an ongoing basis
- Has economic activity and an organized economy. A country regulates foreign and domestic trade and issues money
- Has the power of social engineering, such as education
- Has a transportation system for moving goods and people
- Has a government which provides public services and police power
- Has sovereignty - no other state should have power over the country's territory Has external recognition- a country has been "voted into the club by other countries

Today's class we add more interesting facts about the leaders. I think most of the facts that I found in my assignment was dull.
Chancellor Angela Merkel ,from German.
- On 28 May 2014, she was named the most powerful woman in the world, also by Forbes .
- In 1994 she becomes minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
- Netanyahu's brother, Yonatan, was killed in action in 1976 while leading a mission to rescue Israeli passengers on a hijacked Air France plane.
